RUTA SEPETYS
 As President and founder of
Sepetys Entertainment Group, Inc., Ruta Sepetys devotes
herself to creating and implementing artist development
and growth strategies for her clients. The artist
management firm now enters its tenth year in business
and represents a stylistically diverse stable of
established artists and talented newcomers. The current
roster includes Grammy award winning guitarist Steve Vai
, multi-platinum modern rock chart-toppers LIT,
blues/rock phenom Eric Sardinas and film/television
composer Niels Bye Nielsen. Ruta is responsible for
coordinating and organizing her artists' album
productions, world tours, television appearances,
publishing ventures and music videos.
Ruta was recently featured in Rolling Stone magazine’s
“Women in Rock” issue and described as a “rare breed” of
manager who first and foremost stands by her artists .
“This is an exciting time in the music industry. Artists
and managers now have the opportunity to be directly
involved not only with the development and marketing of
their music, but the distribution and delivery as well.
The music business as we’ve known it is on the verge of
collapsing face first like a suffocating giant. Change,
however, brings opportunity. New artists have the chance
to become part of the new fabric that’s being woven as
we speak. It’s exciting.”
Prior to establishing her own company, Ruta spent four
years as West Coast Manager of C. Winston Simone
Management/Deston Songs, an artist management and
publishing firm based in New York and Miami. The firm
handled the careers of world renown artists and
producers such as Desmond Child (Ricky Martin, the Baha
Men, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith), Joe Jackson, Michael Beinhorn
and others . Ruta received a BS in International Finance
from Hillsdale College and a Masters in International
Management from ICN in Nancy, France. She is a repeat
lecturer at many schools and colleges across the
country.
