BRIAN WILKINS
After graduating from USC film school in 1995, Brian
Wilkins started working at the prestigious talent
agency, William Morris where he worked closely with
clients such as Angelina Jolie, Kevin Spacey and Billy
Bob Thorton. In 1997 Brian moved out of the agency
business and into the management business by joining the
company, Gallin-Morey. This company represented talent
such as Nicole Kidman, Renee Zellweger and Martin
Lawrence. In 1998 Wilkins partnered up with an
independent manager and started the boutique management
company, "Hines Management" and later joined with
manager Erik Kritzer with whom he worked with for 4
years. Wilkins and Kritzer managed Ron Perlman
(currently starring in the title role of "Hellboy"),
Esai Morales (NYPD BLUE) and Michael Rooker
(Cliffhanger). In 2002 Wilkins and Kritzer joined
manager Brian Medavoy and worked with actors such as
Morris Chestnut, Jena Elfman and David Schwimmer.
Brian is currently a manager at the Hollywood based
management and production company "Evolution
Entertainment". Evolution has recently produced a
variety of films that include: "John Q" starring Denzel
Washington, "Dumb and Dumberer", "Love Don't Cost A
Thing" starring Nick Cannon and "Saw" starring Danny
Glover, Cary Elwes and Monica Potter. Evolution is
currently also producing the hit CBS show, "Two and A
Half Men". Evolution and Wilins also represent actors
such as Charlie Sheen, Darius McCrary (Family Matters),
Cary Elwes (Princess Bride), Shawn Ashmore (X-Men 2),
Keven Zegers (Dawn of the Dead), Jared Padeleki (Gilmore
Girls), Jon Tenney (You Can Count On Me), Shawnee Smith
(Becker), Vicellous Shannon (The Hurricane), Terrence
Howard (Heart's War) and Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar Go
To White Castle). Evolution is known for breaking out
new talent and this year alone had 27 of their acting
clients book pilots for all the major networks.
Wilkins also represents directors such as Joel Zwick (My
Big Fat Greek Wedding), Mink (he's currently directing
the Sony film, "Into the Sun") and the acclaimed music
video director, Gregory Dark. |
