ARTHUR GORSON

ARTHUR GORSON is currently Partner and Head of Production at the Los Angeles based Music Video, Commercial and Film production company, The Mine,LLC.

A native New Yorker, Mr. Gorson’s long-standing association with Caribbean and South America music and film is extensive. His history with things Jamaican began while on assignment in Kingston to photograph a young Bob Marley for Rolling Stone Magazine, (he has now photographed four generations of the Marley family.) A long-standing professional relationship with Director Perry Henzell (“The Harder They Come”) continues to this day. Aside from his U.S.A. based activities, Mr. Gorson has produced projects in Mexico, Jamaica, Honduras, Venezuela, Peru and Brazil.

His background includes artist management, concert promotion, and record and film production. He has produced award winning feature films such as "Cronos", directed by Guillermo Del Toro; "Better Watch Out!", directed by Monte Hellman; and "Cabeza De Vaca",directed by Nicolas Echevarria; and has developed films with directors Tony Scott and Taylor Hackford.

Mr.Gorson's current music video credits include: the Dave Matthews Band, Cypress Hill, Damian & Steven Marley, John Secada, Godsmack, Stevie Nicks, Queens of the Stone Age, Everlast, Ravon & Shaggy, Tommy Lee, Marilyn Manson and Dr Dre with Soul Assassins. He has produced commercials for clients such as: Coke, Universal Studios, Mazda Automobiles, Gillette, Woolrich, Gatorade, Doritos Corn Chips and Mortal Combat video games.
